Wolves 1-1 Sunderland: Point Not Enough for Relegation Battle

Another afternoon of frustration at Molineux as Wolves could only manage a 1-1 draw against mid-table Sunderland, leaving them still anchored to the bottom of the Premier League table with time rapidly running out.

With three games remaining, this point does little to help Wolves' survival hopes. Sitting 20th with just 18 points and a goal difference of -38, they need nothing short of a miracle to avoid relegation. Sunderland, comfortable in 12th, can reflect on a job well done this season as they continue to rebuild in the Premier League.
